✪ no matter how / who/ where / what  :  아무리/누가/어디서/무엇을 ~하든지 간에

'no matter + 의문사 = no matter who/how /where /what etc. = 누가/아무리/어디서/무엇을 ~하든지 간에, 하더라도' 등의 의미를 갖는다.

복합관계대명사와 복합관계부사는 'no matter + 의문사' 형태로 바꾸어 사용할 수 있으며 대표적인 복합관계부사로는 'however = no matter how', 'whenever = no matter when', 복합관계대명사로는 'whoever = no matter who', 'whatever = no matter what' 등이 있다.

'no matter how'의 경우, 'no matter how + 형용사/부사 + 주어 + 동사' 형태로 자주 쓰여 어순에 주의가 필요하다. 'no matter what (happens) = 무슨 일이 있어도, 기필코'의 의미로 자주 활용된다.
